Farrell, Guillen toss first Spinners No-Hitter
Posted by lowellspinners on August 14, 2006
In a game that will go down in Lowell Spinners history, Connecticut native Jeff Farrell and reliever Jean Guillen combined for the first No-Hitter in franchise history today on August 13 at Hudson Valley.
Congratulations to the whole team!
The last nine inning no hitter by a Lowell pitcher was way back on May 1, 1915 on the Lowell Gray’s Opening Day romp at Worcester.
Talk about a long time in the works…!
