Ryan Phillips followed up his 2005 All-Star season in Lowell with another good one last year in Low-A Greenville (3.26 ERA in 16 starts).
But he hurt his shoulder after two appearances in this Hawaiian League this winter, so he’s sticking around in Extended Spring Training until he heals.
