Pichardo Named Baserunner of the Year

Spinners outfielder Wilfred Pichardo played in just one game at LeLacheur Park before injuring himself in the Spinners Stedler Division clinching win. Weiland’s record streak earns player of the month honors

Kyle Weiland’s record-setting run of not allowing an earned run earned the Spinners ace the Red Sox’ Organization Pitcher of the Month Award. Weiland made five starts in August and did not allow an earned run in 22 innings of work. He only gave up 11 hits and four walks while striking out 26 batters.
