Spinners Crush LeLacheur Single Game Attendance Record

The Lowell Spinners on Wednesday night crushed the single game attendance record for LeLacheur stadium by hosting 5,420, breaking the previous record of 5,030. Wednesday night’s game vs. Aberdeen featured a Dustin Pedroia bobblehead giveaway, picture perfect weather, Jed Lowrie continuing his rehab assignment and it was also Jimmy Buffett night. The new attendance record was possible due to the addition of a new emergency exit, added through the right field wall off the field to allow for concerts at the field. The new exit allows for an increased maximum capacity for LeLacheur.

We would again like to thank all of our amazing fans for helping to set this record and supporting the Spinners loyally. Today was one of the few days this season where the weather was actually sunny, yet our fans have helped to sell out every home game this season. The Spinners appreciate the home field advantage of playing at LeLacheur, going 9-5 at home so far this season, easily the best home record in the Stedler divison.
